Bio
Art to Art Gallery Hong Kong was founded in August 2018 by two contemporary local artists Jane and Alan. The main purpose is to use different art media as creative tools, including oil painting, pastel, watercolor, paper collage and mixed media promoted to the public through diversified creation. They love traveling, so they integrate the local culture and art of various countries into their works. Alan studied architecture at the University of Southern California in the United States. He integrates his interest and expertise in architectural art into his creation, and his oil paintings are full of colour. Jane, who studied interior design at a State University of the United States. She is enthusiastic about music, she sometimes adds musical elements to her creation from time to time.In 2019, Art to Art Gallery participated an event organized by St. James' Settlement in 2019. It was an activity that allowed participants to create works inspired by the Blue House in Wan Chai. In the workshop, participants were able to explore different mediums such as watercolor, gouache and paper collage to create interesting artworks.In 2020, Art To Art was invited by the Hong Kong Police Department to create and paint two murals with the theme of traffic safety in the Sai Wan Ho, bringing an artistic environment to the community.In 2026, Art To Art Gallery participated Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong.Besides to showcase works in different exhibitions, teaching lessons are also offered at the studio. Students can learn different methods and skills based on their own needs and creativities.
