Alan Chan
Alan Chan was born in Hong Kong and has loved painting since childhood. In 1976, he had the opportunity to study painting under Marco Szeto . In 1986, he also studied Chinese ink painting under Au Yeung Nai-Chim. In 1991, he went to Los Angeles, United State to study Fine Arts and achieved a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1999. During this period of time, Alan continuously experimented with different aspects of art. In 2004, he returned to Marco Szeto Studio to continue his studies.His works, including oil paintings, pastel paintings, ink paintings, and paper-cut collages, with a unique personal style. Vibrant colors combined with lines bring a sense of freshness. Since 2018, he has been engaged in art education, opening a studio and exchanging ideas with other artists.
